Obituary for LouAnnda Kay Larson (Eby)

LouAnnda Kay Larson, 63, of Clinton, Iowa passed away at Mercy Medical Center – North on Thursday, January 3, 2019. Honoring her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded with a Memorial Service occurring at 3 pm on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Lemke Funeral Homes – North Chapel. A visitation will occur 2 hours prior from 1 pm until the service hour on Sunday. Burial will take place at a later date. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.

LouAnnda was born July 7, 1955 in Iowa City, Iowa the daughter of Theodore and Sandra (Bodenhofer) Eby. After acquiring her GED, she enrolled at Clinton Community College graduating with an Associates of Arts Degree, she then enrolled at Mount Saint Clare College receiving a Bachelor’s of Arts in Social Sciences - earning Magna cum laude distinction, as well as, the James L. Mooney Social Science award.

LouAnnda was united in marriage to Bill Larson on March 12, 1992 in Clinton, Iowa.

LouAnnda started her career working at Iowa State Bank and then as an office manager for a local business and concluding her career as an office manager and bookkeeper for Bill Larson roofing. She was also a Mary Kay representative, routinely gaining top sales honors.

LouAnnda enjoyed crafts, gardening and enjoyed socializing with family and friends. She loved to decorate for the Holidays. Above all, she loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren.

LouAnnda is survived by her husband Bill of Clinton; daughter – Laura (Cliff) Eshelman of Clinton; sons – Nick (Madonna Smith) Parker of Iowa City and Derek (Marycris) Parker of Clinton; her mother Sandra (Donald) Hamm of Morrison; 10 grandchildren; sister Candy Manning of Arkadelphia, AK; with special niece Amber Kennedy and many friends.

Preceding LouAnnda in death was her brother, Nicholas Eby.

In lieu of flowers, memorials made can be directed to the wishes of the family.
