Obituary for Lisa Kay Schrader
Lisa Kay Schrader, 61, of Clinton, Iowa, passed away at the University of Iowa Hospitals on Sunday, September 11, 2022. Funeral services occur at 2 pm on Friday, September 16, at Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel. A visitation occurs one hour prior from 1 pm until the service hour at the funeral home. Burial immediately follows the funeral service at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Lisa was born July 31, 1961 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Kenneth and Gloria (Skoff) Schrader.
Lisa was a 1979 graduate of Northeast High School. She then enrolled at Clinton Community College and received an Associate’s Degree. Lisa worked at International Paper and inspired by her love of children, also owned and operated an in-home children’s day care.
Lisa enjoyed watching old DVD movies and keeping up with her niece and nephews, for whom she had a special place in her heart for. Above all, she loved her family very much and will be incredibly missed.
Lisa is survived by her mother - Gloria Schrader of Camanche; her siblings - Patty (Pat) Sullens of Camanche, Keith (Patty) Schrader of Clinton; one niece - Kelli (Colin) Sullivan of Camanche; two nephews - Michael (Chelsea) Sullens, of Clinton and Colin Schrader of Dubuque; one great-niece - Nora Sullens; her longtime special friend Dale Jones, several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her father - Kenneth Schrader.
Memorials made can be directed to the wishes of the family.
