Linda Kay Schnoor, 69, of Clinton, Iowa passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Cremation rites have been accorded with a prayer and remembrance ceremony taking place at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 2, at Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel (2610 Manufacturing Drive - west side of Clinton Lawn Cemetery). A visitation will be held one hour prior to the prayer and remembrance ceremony from 11:00 a.m. until time of ceremony at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.
Linda was born May 20, 1945 in Clinton, Iowa the daughter of Carl and Mary (Hartman) Schnoor. Linda was employed with the Swift Company for a number of years.
Linda enjoyed working word puzzles, shopping and loved her dogs dearly.
Linda is survived by two sisters - Carol Mitchell of Kentucky, Susan (Gary) Petersen of Clinton, IA.; one brother - Richard (Dorothy) Schnoor of Camanche, IA. with several nieces, nephews and cousins and her very special niece Kim (Mark) Graham of Low Moor, IA. and special friend Ed Sechrest of Clinton, IA.
Preceding Linda in death were her parents, four brothers and two sisters.
Memorials made will be directed to the wishes of the family.
