Linda L. Grear, 58, of Clinton Iowa passed away at home, surrounded by her family, on Sunday, August 23, 2020. Honoring her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Private family services will take place at a later date. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.

Linda was January 8, 1962 in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of Roy and Dorothy (Patten) Storts. Following high school, she acquired CNA certificate working at nursing homes, hospitals, hospice care and finally in-home health care prior to her retirement.

Linda was united in marriage to Robert Grear on October 28, 1988 in Ottumwa, Iowa.
She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Clinton.

Linda loved helping people, especially her family. She enjoyed sewing, camping and loved watching NASCAR. She also loved her fur-baby, her feline – Nibbles. Above all, she loved her family very much especially her grandchildren.

Linda is survived her husband Robert of Clinton; four children – Justin, Ashley (Cory) Klein, Kara, and Heather (Brett) Thompson; six grandchildren – Kaden “punkin,” Amarien “peanut,” Aurora, Kimberleigh, T.J. and Thomas; one brother Loran (Jenny) Storts of Decorah, Iowa with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother – Larry.
