Linda Sue Clark, 71, of Clinton, Iowa passed away at the Alverno on Saturday, December 16, 2017. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 20, at the Calvary Baptist Church. A visitation will occur from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19, at Lemke Funeral Homes – South Chapel (2610 Manufacturing Drive). Burial will take place at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Linda was born April 2, 1946 in Savanna, Illinois the daughter of George and Ethel (Fulrath) Weidman. She was a graduate of Savanna High School and later in life would attend Clinton Community College where she received an Associate of Arts Degree.
Linda was a long-time member of the Calvary Baptist Church, where she also worked as the Church Secretary.
She enjoyed sewing, playing the piano and fellowship with her Church family. She loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren, and will be sadly missed.
Linda is survived by two daughters – Kristina (Rick) Carver of Marion, IA and Karrie Weaver of Burlington, IA; one son – Ryan (Kim) Weaver of Clinton, IA; 6 grandchildren; one sister – Judy (Larry) Klein of Savanna, Il.; with one niece and two nephews.
Preceding Linda in death were her parents and one nephew.
