Obituary for Leonard Harry "Bud" Rose
Leonard “Bud” Harry Rose, 64, of Preston, Iowa, passed away at home on Wednesday, March 29, 2023. Honoring his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded with no services scheduled. Burial will take place at a later date at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Leonard was born February 1, 1959 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Robert and Betty (Geiger) Rose.
Leonard worked at Collis and was the apartment manager at Brentwood Bluff (now Nottingham) in Clinton.
Leonard enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and mushroom hunting. He loved all the cats he’s had all his life, especially fur baby – Nanuk. Leonard enjoyed singing and music, especially Pink Floyd. He enjoyed watching movies, especially old school movies - one of his favorites “The Ten Commandments”. Leonard enjoyed traveling when he was able and loved to visit his sister in Florida and trips to Colorado.
Leonard is survived by nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and one brother.
