Obituary for Lawrence Bradford "Larry" Monger
Lawrence “Larry” Bradford Monger, 52, of Clinton, Iowa passed away peacefully at the University of Iowa Hospitals on Saturday, February 27, 2021. Honoring his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded with memorial services taking place at a later date. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Larry was born October 25, 1968 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Lewis and Ruby (Watson) Monger.
Larry enjoyed fine food, listening to music – and rapping. He also enjoyed funny movies and loved to take car rides and travel. Above all, he loved his family very dearly and will be greatly missed.
Larry is survived by one daughter - Shakeila Monger of Clinton, IA and two grandchildren – Jazel and Kayleonna; one brother – Lewis Monger Jr. of Chicago; one sister – Harriet Harrison of Milwaukee, WI; with special nephews – BJ, Andre and Don with other nephews, nephews, cousins and friends.
Preceding Larry in death were his parents.
