Laura May (Wing) Davis, 80 of Clinton, Iowa passed away at Select Specialty Hospital in Davenport, Iowa on February 17, 2013. Cremation rights have been accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 26th at Lemke Funeral Homes- South Chapel (west side of Clinton Lawn Cemetery). Burial will be private. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.
Laura was born January 6th, 1933 in Maquoketa, Iowa the daughter of Edwin and Alda (Huebbe) Wing. She married Harold C. Parker in 1950, he later died. She was united in marriage to Bobbie G. Davis on September 25th, 1965, he passed away in 2009.
Laura was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting and above all, loved spending time with her family.
Laura is survived by one daughter- Michelle "Mick" (Thomas) Mussman of Clinton, Iowa; one son - Harold "Butch" (Cindy) Parker of Colorado; six grandchildren, several great grandchildren; three sisters -Delores Sikkema of Virginia, Susie Claussen of Burlington, Iowa, Linda (Allen) Flagel of Preston, Iowa and one brother- Calvin (Sue) Wing of Morrison, Illinois.
Laura was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Harold C. Parker, her second husband Bobbie G. Davis, two sisters and eight brothers.
