Obituary for Larry Joseph Newmarch
Larry Joseph Newmarch, 71, of Clinton, Iowa, passed away at the Alverno Healthcare Facility on Tuesday, September 13, 2022. Funeral services occur at 12 pm on Saturday, September 17, at Lemke Funeral Homes — South Chapel. A visitation occurs two hours prior from 10 am until the service hour at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jim Pestka, Tyler Davisson, Evan Neal and Cory Dies. Burial immediately follows at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. The family asks that you dress in casual attire. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Larry was born June 26, 1951 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Lloyd and Bernice (Marcus) Newmarch. He was united in marriage to Becky Heath on April 25, 1998 in Clinton, Iowa.
Larry retired from Nestle’ Purina, as a forklift operator, after 43 years of service.
Larry enjoyed weekend trips to Galena with his wife, as well as, shopping with his wife. He also enjoyed working in his yard and spending time with his fur-babies — Minnie, Murphy and Charlie - his dogs. Above all, he loved his family very much and will be greatly missed.
Larry is survived by his wife — Becky, of Clinton; two sons — Casey (Abby) Newmarch of Clinton and Lance (Meggan) Newmarch of Davenport; two step daughters — Kristy Neal of Clinton, and Jodi (Jim) Pestka of Clinton; one granddaughter — Brooklynn Newmarch; step-grandchildren — Tori (Cory) Dies of Lowden, Justin (Caroline) Neal of Switzerland, Evan Neal, and Tyler (Katie) Davisson; step-great-grandchildren — Weston and Emrie Dies; two sisters — Bonnie (Hank) Lehmkuhl of Camanche, Diane (Bob) Voss of Marion; one brother — Rick (Julia) Newmarch of Cedar Rapids; with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, one sister — Nancy Fuller, and one brother — Gary Newmarch.
