Obituary for Kevin Boldt

Kevin W. Boldt, 56, of Clinton, Iowa passed away at his home on January 21, 2015. Honoring his final request, cremation rites have been accorded with a Memorial service taking place at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, January 26, at Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel (2610 Manufacturing drive - just west of Clinton Lawn Cemetery). A visitation will be held one hour prior to the memorial service from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.
Kevin was born January 24, 1958, in Davenport, Iowa the son of Joy (Cramer) Burke and Donald H. Boldt. In 1975 Kevin enlisted in the U.S. Navy serving aboard the U.S.S. Midway.
Kevin worked at several jobs in the area and recently retired. He was a past member of the Free in Jesus Church in Clinton.
Kevin enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, especially camping, fishing and mushroom hunting. He also enjoyed socializing at family gatherings and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. He loved his faithful companions, his dogs Oscar and Heidi. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew him.
Kevin is survived by his mother- Joy Burke of Franklin, WI., his father and step mother- Donald (Wanda) Boldt of Camdenton, MO., his soulmate Amy Gregg of Clinton, IA.; one sister- Annette (Ray) Fischer of Franklin, WI; two step-brothers - Andy Burke of Kenosha, WI. and Todd Boldt of Mount Pleasant, IA.; three sons - William Gregg of Clinton, IA., Kyle Boldt and Ryan Boldt both of Tennessee; one daughter -Courtney Boldt of Tennessee; eight grandchildren and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Preceding Kevin in death was his step-father, Charles Burke.
Memorials made will be directed to the wishes of the family.
