Kent Carder, 47, of Clinton passed away peacefully on Friday August 12th at The Alverno Health Care Facility. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 15th, at 10:00 a.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Clinton. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Lemke Funeral Homes, South Chapel. Burial will take place at the Andover Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family.
Kent was born February 2nd, 1964 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Keith and Shirley (Eickert) Carder.
Kent worked for 20+ years as a welder and millwright. Kent enjoyed bike riding, 4-wheeling, taking photos and he loved his dog Jake.
Kent is survived by his Father- Keith Carder, 1 daughter – Jordan, 3 sisters- Loretta (Phil) Coppess of Clinton, Brenda (Everett) O’shogay of Cedar Rapids, Pam (Chris) Reedy of Clinton, 4 brothers – Bruce (Joyce) Carder of Cedar Rapids, John Carder of Clinton, Jim (Sammy) Carder o f Sabula, Kelly (Andrea) Carder of Clinton and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by - his mother, 1 sister – Paula, and his grandparents
