Kenneth Gene Wright, 78, of Clinton passed away Monday, May 16, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center North.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday , May 18, 2011, at Lemke Funeral Homes, South Chapel, 2610 Manufacturing Drive.
Visitation will begin 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday until time of service. Burial will take place in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes has been assisting the family.

Kenneth was born April 3, 1933 in Clinton, the son of LeRoy and Katherine ( Bolte) Wright.

He graduated from Clinton High School. He served his country in The United States Army. On December 16, 1967, he married the love of his life, Sharon Anderson. Ken and Sharon were united in marriage at First United Methodist Church in Clinton. Ken was a computer programmer at Collis Inc.

Ken loved the outdoors, fishing, spending time with his family, and beloved dog Tina.

Ken is survived by, 2 daughters, Deb (Collin) Calsyn, of Albany, IL., Sherry (Jim) Thompson, of Clinton, 2 sons, Ken ( Kris ) Wright, of Cedar Rapids, Kevin (Kris) Wright, of Camanche, 10 grandchildren, Eric, Cody, Melissa, Kelsey, Andrew, Isabelle, Britani, Nicole, Nick, and Kendall, 1 great grandson, Brayden, and his loving dog, Tina.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Sharon, brother Tom, and sister Betty.
