Kathleen M. Petras, 62, of Camanche, died at her home on March 10, 2014.
A Celebration of life will be from 1:00 to 3:00p.m. Sunday, March 16, 2014, at Lemke Funeral Homes
South Chapel 2610 Manufacturing Dr. (West side of the Clinton Lawn Cemetery.)

Kathleen was born June 20, 1951 in Chicago , Illinois, the daughter of Walter and Irene (Szfranski) Alksnis.

Kathleen M. Alksnis married Heinz Petras in Chicago in 1979, Heinz passed away on April 12, 2010.

Kathleen enjoyed playing cards with friends, she loved her dog Joey, she enjoyed traveling,
and her most memorable trip was with her husband Heinz when they traveled to Germany.
Most of all she loved spending time with family.

Kathleen is survived by her daughter Deborah Alksnis of Cheyenne, Wyoming; 4 granddaughters,
Kathleen, Mary, Tapanga, Brandi, of Cheyenne, Wyoming; 1 sister Evelyn Farmer of Camanche;
3 brothers Joseph Alksnis, Dave Alksnis, and John Alksnis all of Illinois. Many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband.
