Obituary for Karin Jean Wilkins (Hendes)
Karin Jean Wilkins, 60, of Clinton, Iowa passed away at the University of Iowa Hospitals on Thursday, December 13, 2018. Funeral services will occur at 2 pm on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Lemke Funeral Homes – South Chapel (2610 Manufacturing Drive). A visitation will occur 1-hour prior, from 1 pm until the service hour on Wednesday. Following services, cremation rites will be accorded with a private burial taking place at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Karin was born June 26, 1958 in DeWitt, Iowa the daughter of James and Marguerite (Thompson) Hendes. She was a graduate of Clinton High School. Karin worked at several manufacturing facilities in the area.
Karin enjoyed being outdoors and doing yardwork. She also loved animals.
Karin is survived by her father – James Hendes of Clinton, IA; son -Thomas (April Haley) Weideman of Clinton, IA; with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Preceding Karin in death was her mother, Marguerite.
