Obituary for June Ellen Gonzales (Starr)
June Ellen Gonzales, 68, of Clinton, Iowa passed away at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics on Saturday, December 8, 2018. Honoring her wishes cremation rites will be accorded with a private family service taking place. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
June was born January 29, 1950 in Davenport, Iowa the daughter of Henry and Susan (McConaughey) Starr.
June worked many years as a Wire Machine Operator for electronic components at Sherwood Enterprises in Longmont, Colorado.
June, had a wonderful sense of humor and was known as the family comedian. While living in Colorado, she enjoyed hiking in the mountains. She dearly loved her fur babies – her cats and dogs. June had health issues that led her to live with her sister and they lovingly took care of each other. Above all, she loved her family very much and will be sadly missed.
June is survived by her sister – Cathy Haring of Clinton, IA; brother Joe (Cathy) Hughes of Clinton, IA; with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Preceding June in death were her parents.
