Julie Ann Voss, 56, of Bryant, Iowa, Iowa passed away at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics on Monday, January 5, 2015. Cremation rites have been accorded with a private celebration of her life and burial taking place at a later date. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.
Julie was born April 29, 1958 in Clinton, Iowa. She was a 1976 graduate of Clinton High School. Julie was united in marriage to Doug Voss on April 22, 1978 in Clinton, Iowa. Julie was employed with the Clinton School System as an Administrative Secretary.
Julie enjoyed spending time in her pool and also loved boating. She loved working in her garden and tending to her flowers. She also loved socializing, especially around the Holidays and the rotating Christmas. She participated in the "Race for the Cure" every year. Above all, she loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren.
Julie is survived by her husband Doug of Bryant, IA; two daughters - Jamie (Joey) DiIulio of Milan, IL., Courtney (Luke) Wall of Ankeny, IA.; one son - Tanner Voss of Bryant, IA. and four grandchildren - Joseph, Conner, Ava, Caden.
She was preceded in death by her mother in-law and father in-law.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to a memorial fund established with Lemke Funeral Homes.
