Judith Kay Anderson, 70, of Clinton, Iowa passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, November 7, 2021. Honoring her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded with a celebration of her life taking place from 2 pm to 4 pm on Saturday, November 13, 2021. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Judith was born November 19, 1950 in Savanna, Illinois, the daughter of Julian and Mary (Weber) Dickinson. She was a graduate of Sabula High School. Judith was united in marriage to Dale Anderson on July 17, 1970 in Morrison, Illinois.
Early on, Judith worked for the Sabula Speaker factory, Walmart and other area companies until an unfortunate back injury forced her into early retirement.
Judith loved cross-stitching. She also loved the many dogs she had throughout her life. She recently enjoyed online shopping and loved making cookies for the family. Above all, she loved her family very much, especially her granddaughter, and will be greatly missed.
Judith is survived by her husband Dale of Clinton; three sons – Paul Anderson of Clinton, Charles (Diana) Anderson of Clinton, Mark Anderson of DeWitt, IA; one granddaughter – Sydney Peters; three great-great grandchildren – Gemmily, Hazell and Dominic, Jr.; two brothers – Jack Dickinson, Gene (Annette) Dickinson both of Sabula; one sister – Dorothy Mitchell of Savanna, Il; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Proceeding her in death are her parents, one sister – Joyce and two brother in-laws – Robert Mitchell and Kenneth Mitchell.
