Obituary for Jonathan Michael "Jon-Jon" Schmidt
Jonathan “Jon-Jon” Michael Schmidt, 33, of Clinton, Iowa passed away at home on Wednesday, December 16, 2020. Honoring his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded with a celebration of his life taking place at a later date. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Jonathan was born July 17, 1987 in Clinton, Iowa the son of Lorrie Schmidt and Richard Kendall.
He loved playing video games and listening to music and being outdoors. He also loved spending time with his nephews, and hanging out with his friends. He enjoyed playing with the family dog – Peanut. Above all, he loved his family very much and will be incredibly missed by all those who knew him.
Jonathan is survived by his mother – Lorrie Schmidt of Clinton and father – Richard Kendall of Council Bluffs, IA; his sister Debbie and Steven Harlock of Clinton also Amelia Kendall and Lewis Kendall of Council Bluffs, IA; one niece – Lillian; three nephews – Peyton, Bentley and Kingston at home; four uncles – Jim (Chris) Schmidt of Clinton, Dennis (Tina) Schmidt of Camanche, Paul McArdle of Clinton and Brian McArdle of Clinton; his best buddy Anthony Kuehl and many cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother – Beverly McArdle, his Grandpa – Donald McArdle Sr., daughter – Alexis, his uncle Donald McArdle Jr. and aunt Lola McArdle.
