John Anthony Caruso, 60, of Clinton, Iowa passed away at his residence on May 9th, 2013. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, May 11th, at 10:00 a.m. at Jesus Christ Prince of Peace Church. A visitation will occur on Friday, May 10th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Jesus Christ Prince of Peace Church. Burial will take place at Oakland Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.
John was born May 10th, 1952 in Council Bluffs, Iowa the son of John and Eloice (Pratt) Caruso. He was a 1970 graduate of Clinton High School.
John worked many years for Hastings Retail Store in Management and later on for Skyline Center.
John loved music and the outdoors; gardening was one of his favorite hobbies. Above all John loved his children very much.
John is survived by his Father - John Caruso of Clinton, Ia.; one daughter - Ameila Caruso of Iowa City, Ia.; one son- John "Sam" Caruso of Iowa City, Ia.; three sisters - Rose Mary (Paul) Schroeder of Baldwin, Ia., Christi (Stan) Rickertsen of St. Charles, Il., Ann (Rocky) Drinkwine of McGregor, Ia.; three brothers - Bob (Jovi) Caruso of Mexico, Thomas (Lisa) Caruso of Clinton, Ia., Andrew (Barb) Caruso of Ankeny, Ia. and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and one sister - Mary Jane Caruso.
