Jerry Don Alsup, 82, of Camanche, Iowa passed away at the University of Iowa Hospitals on Monday, June 5, 2018. A Graveside Service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, June 9, at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. A Visitation will occur from 10 am until 11 am at Lemke Funeral Homes – South Chapel. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Jerry was born January 17, 1936 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, the son of Mrs. Francis Pinkstaff. His step-father, William Wyatt Sr., played a major role in his life.
Jerry worked for Molded Fiber, as a machine operator.
Jerry loved going to auctions, visiting the Casino and was also very lucking playing scratch-offs. He enjoyed socializing with family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Jerry is survived by his son – Mark (Colleen) Alsup of DeWitt, IA; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, 2 brothers with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Preceding Jerry in death were his parents.
