Obituary for Jeanne Maxine Lowther

Jeanne Maxine Lowther, 90, of Fulton, Illinois passed away at Mercy Medical Center – North on Friday, December 29, 2017. Private family funeral services will take place. Burial will take place at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Jeanne was born September 14, 1927 in Clinton, Iowa the daughter of Ralph and Vera (Bebensee) Gage. She was united in marriage to Robert Lowther on May 7, 1955 at St. Irenaeus Catholic Church, Clinton.
She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Fulton. Jeanne worked many years as a Telephone Operator for Northwestern Bell.
She enjoyed swimming at the YWCA, riding her bike, word puzzles and Wednesday night Bingo. Above all, she loved her family very much.
Jeanne is survived her three children – Brian (Deb) Lowther of Willmar, MN, Brenda (Al) Welsch of Solon, IA and Gwen (Bill) Emmert of Delmar, IA; her granddaughters – Jeramie, Monica and Amanda; two step-grandchildren – Terry and Kate; 5 great-grandchildren – Kayla, Luke, Zoey, Paisley and Autumn; with several nieces and nephews.
Preceding Jeanne in death were her parents, her husband and three sisters.
