Jane Elizabeth Jensen, 62, of Camanche, Iowa passed away peacefully at her residence on March 30, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel (2610 manufacturing drive - just west of Clinton Lawn Cemetery). A visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Clinton Lawn Cemetery.
Jane was born September 24, 1951 in Clinton, Iowa the daughter of Eldon and Ruth (Waugaman) Ryder. She was a 1970 graduate of Clinton High School. Jane was united in marriage to Russell Jensen, he passed away in 2002. She then met her lifelong companion Jerry Aslup.
Jane was a homemaker and Nursing Aid at various nursing homes in the surrounding area. Jane loved people and loved socializing. She also enjoyed going to the Casino. Jane loved to travel, and it didn't matter if it was near or far. Above all she loved her family very much.
Jane is survived by her loving and special companion Jerry Alsup of Camanche, IA., two daughters - Tasha Jensen and Felicia Jensen formerly of Clinton, IA.; two sons Brian Ryder of Camanche, IA., Todd Jensen of IL.; one granddaughter - Jasmine and one brother - Paul (Pam) Ryder of Clinton, IA.,
Preceding Jane in death were her parents and her husband Russell.
Memorials made will be directed to the wishes of the family.
