Obituary for Jane Marie Anderson (Huffman)
Jane Marie Anderson, 70, of Clinton, Iowa passed away at MercyOne Medical Center on Wednesday, October 7, 2020. Funeral services occur at 1 pm on Tuesday, October 13, at Lemke Funeral Homes – South Chapel. A visitation occurs two-hours prior from 11 am until the service hour at the Funeral Home. Burial takes place at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Jane was born November 2, 1949 in Boone, Iowa the daughter of Glenn and Evelyne (Sass) Huffman. She was a 1968 graduate of Clinton High School. Jane was united in marriage to Richard Anderson on June 13, 1969 in Clinton.
Jane was a homemaker - lovingly caring for her family. She was a long-time member of the Gateway Faith Fellowship Church in Fulton, Illinois.
Jane’s passion was reading, she read numerous books, especially Christian books. She loved all the fur-babies she had her entire life, especially, Rosie. Above all, she loved her family very much and will be incredibly missed.
Jane is survived by her husband – Richard of Clinton; daughter – Melissa Anderson of Clinton; two sons – Craig (Monica) Anderson of Clinton and Mark (Kathryn) Anderson of Liberty Lake, WA; eight grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren; three sisters – Charlotte (Ron) Dean of Searcy, AR, Joan Shadle of Camanche (Jane’s Twin) and Connie (Don) Hendrix of New Braunfels, TX; with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, infant son – Richard Jr., one sister – Linda and one brother – Michael.
