Jimmy was born December 21, 1976 in Clinton, Iowa the son of Robert Smith Jr. and Kathy Monshower. He graduated from Thomson High School. Jimmy worked at West Rock, Inc. for over 20+ years.

Jimmy loved being outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He also loved his lab – Jarvis. He enjoyed collecting marbles and baseball cards and cherished going to the Thomson flea market with his children. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was very social - hosting the greatest cookouts, as he loved playing bags and hanging out with family and friends. Jim will be remembered for having the most amazing laugh and giggle, giving the greatest hugs, and for the way he could brighten any room with his laughter and stories. He will be incredibly and sadly missed by all those who knew him.
