Obituary for James E. Cannon

James E. Cannon, 72, of Clinton passed away Sunday April 17th at Mercy Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held Saturday April 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at the Second Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held Friday April 22nd from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. at the Second Baptist Church. Burial will take place at a later date.
Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family.
James was born September 6th 1938 in Lakeland, Florida the son of Will and Gussie (Richardson) Cannon. James graduated from Washington Park High School in 1956.
James worked 15+ years as a line operator at National By-Products.
James is survived by: 1 brother - Alton Pete Cannon, 7 daughters - Jacqueline of Clinton, Joyce of Lakeland, Florida, Debra Collins from Lakeland, Florida, Sarah (Otis) Bufford of Lakeland, Florida, Janete Williams of Lakeland, Florida, April Williams of Lakeland, Florida, Cheryl (Earnest) Joe of Lakeland, Florida, Kim Burgess of Lakeland, Florida, 2 sons - Jeffery (Dalmesha) Williams of Lakeland, Florida, James Edward Jr. of Minnesota, 4 step-daughters - Elizabeth (David) Keys of Lakeland, Florida, Harriette (Kacy) Smith of Lakeland, Florida, Francine Broughton of Clinton, Iowa, Tyisha Armour-Curtis of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Renetta Davis of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and 1 step-son - James Broughton of Clinton, several grand children and great grand children, he also had special friends including Barbara Cannon, Ms. Nita, Mother Hodges , Mother Drake, Ms. Ann and Ms. Clara.
He was preceded in death by - his parents and his wife Atria.
