James "Jim" Lewis Boots, 43, of Clinton, Iowa passed away at Eagle Point Nursing Home on Friday, July 14, 2017. Honoring his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 18, at Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel. A visitation will occur one-hour prior from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Jim was born June 30, 1974 in Dubuque, Iowa the son of Clarence and DeAnne (Bartmann) Boots. He was a graduate of Maquoketa High School.
Jim loved the outdoors, especially hunting with his Dad, fishing and camping. He enjoyed watching his favorite teams, the Chicago Cubs and Bears. He also enjoyed playing video games. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Jim is survived by his loving companion – Kelly Lendman of Clinton, IA; two sisters – Laurie (Greg) Manthey of Dubuque, IA and Cindy Williams of Spring, TX; two nieces – Debbie Manthey and Amber Bauer; three nephews – Bobby Williams, Steven Manthey and Nick Williams and his compassionate care taker – Gini (David) Hill.
Preceding Jim in death were his parents and one brother in-law – Bob Williams
