Obituary for Henry Mosley

Henry G. Mosley, entered this life on May 14, 1945 as the 5th and last child of Willie and Susie Ann Mosley, while they resided in Montgomery, AL. While he was still an infant, the family moved to Detroit, MI where he completed his primary and secondary education. He then entered the U.S. Army to serve and receive an honorable discharge in 1967. He resided in Clinton, IA., all of his adult life, married and fathered four children. He was a safety officer for the Union Pacific Railroad for 30 years.
Henry was a friendly, fun-loving, very direct and outspoken, and yet very private. He was a dedicated sports fan but his life's passion was playing golf, at which he was very good. He was proceeded in death by his parents and two older sisters.
After a very brief illness, Henry departed this life on April 12th, 2012.
Left to treasure memories of him are his beloved wife - Jennifer, sister - Mary (Charles) Duncan of TX, brother - Sanford Mosley of AZ, his four children - Candace (Eddie) Scott of NC, Henry Mosley of VA, Sonia Mosley of NC, John Mosley of NC, one adopted daughter - Nakie Hayes of IA, thirteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, father and mother-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He will be sorely missed.
Cremation rights have been accorded with a 11:00 a.m. memorial service to be held on Sunday, April, 15th at Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel (2610 manufacturing drive Clinton, IA)
