Heather Renee Bledsoe, 45, of Clinton, Iowa passed away at MercyOne Medical Center on Monday, May 15, 2023. Honoring her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A celebration of Heather’s life will take place at a later date. Burial will also take place at a later date at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.

Heather was born August 21, 1977 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Vickie Chapman.

She worked at Fitz’s Restaurant in St. Louis, Missouri until diabetes forced her into retirement.

Heather enjoyed cooking and coming up with new recipes. She loved sudoku and
playing cards. She also enjoyed watching old detective shows. She loved her fur-baby her cat - Stretch. Although Heather was a homebody, she loved her entire family very much and will be greatly missed. She was never judgmental and always had an ear to listen and support friends and family.

Heather is survived by her father – David Greene on Clinton; Step-Dad – Thomas Varner; siblings – Kristopher (Ashley) Greene, Eileen (Brannon) Mayer, Bradley Greene and Sean Varner all of Clinton; with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother – Vickie Varner.
