Gus loved socializing, especially with his breakfast club – friends he'd meet with every morning. He also enjoyed playing golf. Every 6 weeks he took a case of snack crackers to the "Chemo Suite" at the University of Iowa Hospitals. He would also volunteer for the Christmas dinner held at the Fulton American Legion Hall. He was a guy always on the go and always willing to help others out. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew him.
