Obituary for Gloria Richeson
Gloria Diane Richeson, 81, of Clinton, Iowa, passed away at Genesis East Hospital, in Davenport, Iowa, on Tuesday, July 27, 2021. A Funeral Service occurs at 2pm on Saturday, July 31, at Lemke Funeral Homes – South Chapel (2610 Manufacturing Drive). A visitation occurs 1 hour prior from 1pm until the service hour at the funeral home. Honoring her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded following the service with burial taking place at a later date. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Gloria was born on February 16, 1940 in Sabula, Iowa, the daughter of Ralph and Irene (Behrens) Daehler. She was united in marriage to Francis “Rich” Richeson on February 4, 1956 in Clinton, Iowa.
Early in life Gloria enjoyed cross-stitching and crocheting. She took pride in being a stay-at-home mother. Gloria had a passion for reading and playing solitaire. She adored her dogs – especially Bandit and Gizmo. Above all, she loved her family very much and will be greatly missed.
Gloria is survived by her husband – Francis of Clinton; one daughter- Angela Dickau of Clinton; one son- Dan Richeson of Clinton; four grandchildren- Amanda Richeson of Savanna, IL, Ashley Whipple of Miles, IA, Jordan Richeson of Clinton, and Nick Dickau of Thomson, IL; three great-grandchildren- Mason, Olivia, and Kasen; other extended family; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one grandson.
