Obituary for Gerald Edward Pestka
Gerald Edward Pestka, 77, of Clinton, Iowa, passed away at the University of Iowa Hospital on Monday, February 28, 2022. Honoring his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded with no services scheduled. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Gerald was born December 22, 1944 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Edward and Bernadine (Mangelson) Pestka.
Gerald served his Country in the United States Navy. He worked as a process technician at Sethness Products, Clinton facility, for over 30 years.
Gerald enjoyed socializing with family and friends. He enjoyed spending time in Florida during vacations. Although he kept mostly to himself, he loved his family very much and will be greatly missed.
Gerald is survived by his sister Marilyn (Sanford) Streets of Mission, TX; four nieces and nephews - John Kohl, Debbie (Chowdurry) Kohl, Steve Kohl and Bart Streets, several cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister - Judy Pray and nephew Brent Streets.
