Obituary for Georgia Wanietta Reed (Schreck)
Georgia Wanietta Reed, 84, of Clinton, Iowa passed away peacefully at Eagle Point Nursing Home on Tuesday, December 18, 2018. Honoring her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded with private services. Private burial will take place a Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Georgia was born June 22, 1934 in Aransas Pass, Texas the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Schreck. She was united in marriage to James Reed in October 1994 in Clinton, Iowa.
Georgia was a Reverend in the Spiritual Church. She worked at various factories in the area, ultimately retiring from Rock Tenn in Clinton. Following retirement, she was a door greeter at Walmart.
Georgia enjoyed shopping and reading.
Georgia is survived by her sons – Michael Flute of TX, Bob Johnson of TX, Jim Johnson of Camanche and Taylor Flute of Washington; daughter Jackie Johnson of FL and 2 sisters – Darlene and Delores.
Preceding Georgia in death was her parents, husband Jim, 1 sister and 1 brother.
