Obituary for Frank Lyn James
Frank Lyn James, 57, of Clinton, Iowa passed away at home on Friday, June 24, 2022. Honoring his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded with a celebration of his life taking place at a later date. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Frank was born July 31, 1964, in Clinton, Iowa the son of Harlen and Nancy (Kensinger) James. He was united in marriage to Mary Sherman on November 30, 2020.
Frank attended River Church, in Clinton and also worked part-time in the Jewel-Osco Bakery.
Frank loved to go fishing on the Wapsi River. He also enjoyed sitting by his backyard fire pit. Frank loved to cook. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and also loved his dog – Bear. He enjoyed socializing with family and friends, especially his best friend, Mike. Above all, he loved his family very much and will be greatly missed.
Frank is survived by his wife Mary of Clinton, his two children - Tracy (Maurice) Jackson and Jeremy (Emily) James both of Clinton; seven grandchildren - Justice, Heaven, Nyvaeh, Cheyanne, Azaria, Phoebe, Wyatt and with one on the way; two sisters Alice James of Colorado Springs, CO, and Jackie (Michael) Nelson of Clinton, IA; two brothers - Jesse (Lourdes) James of Montclair, CA. and Tony James of Clinton, IA; with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three great-grandchildren and one great-nephew, Gavin Milder.
