Florence Louise Lewis , 75, of Clinton, Iowa passed away at Mercy Medical Center - South on September 7, 2014. A celebration of her life will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 12, at Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel (2610 manufacturing drive - just west of Clinton Lawn Cemetery). Honoring Florence's final instructions, cremation rites will be accorded following the celebration of life. No funeral service is planned and a private burial will take place at Clinton Lawn Cemetery at a later date. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.
Florence was born May 12, 1939 in Watertown, New York the daughter of George and Irma (Ingerson) Brigham. She was united in marriage to Roger Lewis on August 5, 1962 in Watertown. They celebrated fifty one years of marriage until his recent passing in February.
Florence loved visiting the Casino's and trying her luck at the various games of chance. She also enjoyed playing bingo and bowling. She loved her family very much and especially loved taking care of her grandkids. She will be sadly missed.

Florence is survived by her daughter Tina (Allen) Ware of Weatherford, Texas, two sons- Todd (Diane) Lewis of Clinton, Troy (Tammy Reavy) Lewis of Clinton; nine grandchildren, thirteen great grand-children; one brother - Bobby (Marika) Brigham of Las Vegas, Nevada; one sister - Linda (George) Scales of Depauville, New York with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceding Florence in death were her parents, her husband Roger, two sisters and one brother.
Memorials made will be directed to the wishes of the family.
