Obituary for Ethan Aaron Vosatka

Ethan Aaron Vosatka, 31, of Clinton, Iowa succumbed from injuries suffered in an automobile accident on Saturday, January 21, 2023. A celebration of his life will take place from 11 am to 2 pm on Sunday, January 29 at Lemke Funeral Homes – South Chapel. The celebration of his life will conclude with prayers and memory sharing. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.

Ethan was born October 18, 1991 in Iowa City, Iowa the son of Steve and Justine (Hinrichsen) Vosatka. He was a high school graduate who eventually started a career at Nestle Purina, working in the dry pet food processing department and just recently received an award for 5 years of employment.

Ethan was united in marriage to Katelyn McCutcheon in August 2020, they would later divorce but brought into this World a beautiful daughter - Brinley - whom Ethan cherished. As he and Brinley would always lovingly say to one another "I love you more than a pot of gold!"

Ethan was a member of Hell’s Our Home MC.

To say Ethan was a motor/gear head would be an understatement. Since a very young age he took apart and reassembled engines, fixed engines or modified engines or rebuilding and modifying cars – he had a God given talent for mechanics. He loved getting out on the road with his brothers, riding his Harley and socializing with friends and family.

Ethan is survived by his mother - Justine (Don) DeWitt of Clinton; his daughter - Brinley; his siblings - Beau (Carson) Vosatka of Bettendorf; Elise Vosatka of Clinton; Chelsea (Casey) Cox of Clinton and Shaina Vosatka of Camanche; one nephew - Kaysen Ison; other extended family -- Bridget (Brian) Ainley; Amber Toepfer; Mason Toepfer; Brady Sullivan; Luke DeWitt; several aunts and uncles along with his maternal grandmother and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father – Steve Vosatka.
