Obituary for Elizabeth Ann "Buffy" Willis (Jones)
Elizabeth “Buffy” Ann Willis, 55, of Clinton, Iowa passed away at home on Friday, December 23, 2022. Funeral services take place at 7 pm on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Lemke Funeral Homes — South Chapel. A visitation occurs 3 hours prior from 4 pm until the service hour at the funeral home on Thursday, January 5. Cremation rites will be accorded following the service with burial at a later date at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Elizabeth was born June 16, 1967 in Dubuque, Iowa the daughter of James and Lillian (Johnson) Jones.
Elizabeth worked for Casey’s for 14 years and was the Manager at the 13th Avenue North location.
Elizabeth enjoyed the outdoors, especially gardening and fishing. She absolutely loved taking trips to Mexico and spending time on the beach relaxing. She enjoyed sweets and her favorite treats of chocolate. In her off hours, she enjoyed reading and loved spending time on the computer playing games. She enjoyed working for Casey’s and loved her fellow Casey’s associates. Above all, she loved her children and grandchildren very much and will be incredibly missed.
Elizabeth is survived by her three children - Ashley Willis, Aubrae Willis and Abigail Macke all of Clinton; five grandchildren - Arianna, Mayson, Taysha, Caleb and Amelia, with one on the way; her siblings - Linda Corbisier of Clinton, Leanna Geffers from Clinton, Kathy (Kevin) DeForest of Knoxville, IL, Christopher Creeley of Olympia, WA, Scott (Gayla) Creeley of Clinton, Charles (Debbie) Creeley of Clinton; with many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister – Doralee and two brothers - Brad and Steve.
