Dorothy Ann Holm, 78, of Camanche, Iowa passed away at the Alverno on Thursday, September 8, 2016. A funeral service will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 10, at Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel (2610 Manufacturing Drive). A visitation will occur from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home on Saturday. Burial will take place at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.
Dorothy was born February 6, 1938 in Arcadia, Missouri, the daughter of Ronie and Lovie (Williams) Pruett. She was a graduate of Clinton High School. Dorothy was united in marriage to Gerald Holm on January 12, 1957 in Camanche.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Camanche. Dorothy retired from Promotion Fulfillment Corporate (P.F.C.) after 10+ years of service.
Dorothy enjoyed shopping, watching old movies and TV shows. Following the passing of her husband in 1988, she enjoyed traveling with her sister. Above all she loved her family very much and will be greatly missed.
Dorothy is survived by her three daughters - Denise (Jim) Knight of Clinton, IA, Amy (Paul) Rumbo of Lindale, TX, Karen Brooks of Camanche, IA; two sons - Jay (Jane) Holm of Clinton, IA; Tom Holm of Camanche, IA; nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Preceding Dorothy in death were her parents, her husband Gerald and one sister - Nova Wilson.
