Dorcas Ann Colschen, 52, of Clinton, Iowa passed away at her home on April, 30th, 2013. Cremation rights have been accorded with a private memorial service to be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 4th at Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel (west side of Clinton Lawn Cemetery). Burial will be private. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.
Dorcas was born August 2nd, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Roy and Dorcas (Hagler) Pearson. She was united in marriage to Tom Colschen on October 7th, 1978 in Clinton, Iowa.
Dorcas was a homemaker and was an avid bird watcher and most recently loved the newest member of the family - her beloved kitten "echo".
Dorcas is survived by her husband Tom of Clinton; two sons- Tim Colschen of Clinton, Ia., Kevin and his fiancé Alisha Smith Colschen of Clinton, Ia.; her parents- step father Ray and Dorcas Dellit of Clinton, Ia.; twin sister- Dawn of Vermont; one brother - Gary Dellit of Burlington, Ia., and three nephews.
She was preceded in death by her in-laws - Donna and Fritz Colschen and her father - Roy Pearson
