Donna M. Flynn, 72, of Clinton passed away Saturday April 16th at her home.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday April 21st at Lemke Funeral Homes South Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service.
Burial will take place at Clinton Lawn Cemetery.
Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family.
Donna was born August 16th 1938 in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of Joseph and Dorothy (Dowty) Chiappetta. Donna graduated from Clinton High School in 1955. For many years she would travel to Saint Petersburg , Florida working at the dog track there.
On April 26th 1957 Donna married LaVerne Flynn in Fulton, Illinois.
Donna was a member of the Eagles club, and she loved her cats.
Donna is survived by: two sons - Vincent (Tiki) Flynn of Clinton, Vernon (Judy) Flynn of South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, one daughter - Vicki Long of Camanche, 2 grandsons - Mike and Justin, two greatgrand children - Kaleb and Skylarr, one special Aunt - Dorothy Latimer of Camanche, and her best friend Goldie Thompson of Clinton.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, her husband LaVerne, and son in-law Wesley Long.
