Donna Adkins
Donna Adkins, 63 of Clinton Arkansas, formerly of Clinton Iowa, died March 14, 2011 after a brief illness.
Donna is survived by her mother, Vilene Newsome Borgman, of Clinton Arkansas and two children Vicky Adkins, of Clinton Iowa and Buddy Adkins, of Tennessee . In honor of her mother Vicky has written:
When our Lord called his angel home, she could not tell him no. She is now in heaven with a smile on her face. She knows there will be no more pain or heartache. She is now in the lord's loving embrace. She was a daughter a sister and a friend. She cared and lived for all till the end, but most of all she was my mother and I placed no one else above her. She gave me life and made so many sacrifices. She was there to teach me right from wrong, how to be strong. I know she wants us to carry on. She was a diamond, she was a gem. She was my momma and my best friend, in my heart her memory will never end. Rest in peace momma. I love you and I miss you with all my heart and soul.
A Memorial service will be held Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. at the Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel, 2610 Manufacturing Dr., with visitation starting at 11:00am at the funeral home.
