Dennis Charles Faber, 67, of Clinton, Iowa passed away at Select Specialty Hospitals, Davenport, on Sunday, April 21, 2019. Cremation rites have been accorded with a celebration of his life taking place from 12 pm to 3 pm on Saturday, April 27, at Lemke Funeral Homes – South Chapel (2610 Manufacturing Drive). Burial will take place at a later date. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.

Dennis was born November 5, 1951 in Oak Park, Illinois the son of Elmer and Rose Mary (Hyde) Faber.

Following his graduation from St. Josephs H.S., in West Chester, Illinois, he then acquired a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Accounting at Northern Illinois University.

Dennis worked as an operator at Clysar for 20 years.

To say Dennis loved sports would be an understatement, he was a true sports fanatic. He had the uncanny ability to know the players, of all sports, statistics and past game highlights. He also loved music and his aquarium of fish. Above all, he loved his family very much, especially his sons and will be greatly missed.

Dennis is survived by his two sons – Brandon Faber of Silvis, IL and Brian Faber of Breckinridge, CO; his twin brother Danny (Gail) Faber of Wheaton, Il; one sister – Kathleen (Alex) Kochick of West Chicago, IL; with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Preceding Dennis in death were his parents.
