Obituary for Debra Jean Keller

Debra Jean Keller, 63, of Clinton, Iowa passed away at home on Monday, August 1, 2016. A funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 5, at Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel (2610 Manufacturing Drive). A visitation will occur from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home on Friday. Burial will take place at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.
Debra was born November 4, 1952 in Clinton, Iowa the daughter of Pete and Ethel (Hesseltine) Edfors. Debra was united in marriage to Harold Keller Jr. on November 15, 1969 in Camanche, Iowa - Harold passed away on April 25, 1979. She then married Vince Liska on June 13, 1998 in Las Vegas, Nevada - Vince passed away on May 6, 2008. Debra was a homemaker, taking care of her family was her main priority.
Debra enjoyed going to the Casino's in Las Vegas, spending time at the slot machines. She had a very caring and soft heart, she frequently donated to various charities including Paralyzed Veterans of America, Boys Town, the Humane Society of the United States and The International Fund for Animal Welfare. She loved all animals always making sure the neighborhood birds and squirrels had food. She especially loved her dogs and more recently her cats. She loved her family very much and will be sadly missed.
Debra is survived by two daughters - Brenda (Bill) Watters of Clinton, IA, Dawn (Cesar) Diaz of Clinton, IA; one son - Dave Keller of Clinton, IA; five grandchildren - Kayla, Livia, Tayvius, Avery and Kamari; one great-grandson - Kaden; three sisters - Frances (Dick) Morrow of Wayland, IA, Margie (Stan) Rolston of Clinton, IA, Mary (Ron) Newman of Clinton, IA; two brothers - Robert Morgan of Clinton, IA and Ronald (Deb) Edfors of Fulton, Ill; her best friend - Barb (Jerry) Edfors of Clinton, IA; with several, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Preceding Debra in death were her parents, her two husbands, two sisters - Francine Lowe and Thelma Farrier and six brothers - Howard Van Winkle, Dave Edfors, Martin Edfors, Guy Edfors, Pete Edfors and Jerry Edfors.
