David “Dave” Allen Robinson, 63, of Baldwin, Iowa, passed away at home, with his loving daughter by his side, on Monday, October 19, 2020. Honoring his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded with burial taking place at 10 am on Saturday, October 24, at Evergreen Cemetery, Sabula, Iowa. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
David was born November 23, 1956 in Clinton, Iowa the son of George W. and Katherine (Wilson) Robinson. He was a graduate of East Central High School in Miles, Iowa.
David was stricken with Polio as an infant but never let this disability slow him down – at all!
David worked as a machinist and tool-and-die maker working for a manufacturer of Electronic goods in Maquoketa.
To say David was an outdoor enthusiast is an understatement - he loved doing anything and everything outdoors and always enjoyed tending to his yard or helping a neighbor with yard work. When he had the time, he enjoyed fishing. When he was stuck indoors, you could find him paging through a Cabela’s magazine.
David is survived by his daughter - Melinda (Brandon) Kelly of Baldwin, Iowa; three grandchildren – Attalina, Kenneth and Desirea; his father – George W. Robinson of Albany, Il; three brothers – Michael (Debra) Robinson of TX, Timothy (Beth) Robinson of New York and Paul (Kelly) Robinson of Albany, Il; with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents – George and Elizabeth (Smith) Robinson
