David D. Huebner, 78, of Clinton, Iowa passed away peacefully at the Alverno on Tuesday, March 7, 2017. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 13, at Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel. A visitation will occur one hour prior from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
David was born April 16, 1938 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Alvin and Emma (Mohr) Huebner. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church.
David enjoyed doing puzzles, reading and going for rides in the car. He really loved being outdoors and going for walks in the parks where he would spend time watching wildlife, especially bird watching.
David is survived by one brother - Earl Huebner of Rolla, MO; four nieces – Anna, Cindy, Elaine and Nancy; four nephews - Randy, Laverne, Rodger and Brad;
Preceding David in death are his parents, one sister – Marian and two nieces.
