Obituary for David Lyle Hayton Sr.
David Lyle Hayton, Sr., 57, of Clinton, Iowa passed away at the University of Iowa Hospitals on July 8, 2020. Honoring his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded with a funeral service taking place at 6 pm Wednesday, July 15, at Lemke Funeral Homes – South Chapel (2610 Manufacturing Drive). A visitation occurs two-hours prior from 4 pm until the service hour at the funeral home. Burial takes place at a later date. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
David was born October 29, 1962 in Clinton, Iowa the son of Alan and Hazel Hayton.
David worked in the Construction industry.
David loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hanging out at the Park. He enjoyed socializing at family events and enjoyed his cold cocktails.
David is survived by his children – Cullen Riddle, Tara Riddle and David Hayton Jr. all of Clinton; step-son – Justin (Amy) Hayton of Fulton; ex-wife and best friend – Pam Sanders of Clinton; 16 grandchildren, including special grandson – Tyler Musch and sister Paula Hayton of Clinton; with nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother – Alan and granddaughter – Blaiksley.
