Obituary for Dale Eugene Boekeloo
Dale Eugene Boekeloo, 87, of Clinton, Iowa passed away peacefully at Eagle Point Health Care Center on Tuesday, August 27, 2019. Honoring his wishes, there will be no services with private burial at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Dale was born September 21, 1931 in Clinton, Iowa the son of Frank and Grace (Baker) Boekeloo. He was a graduate of Clinton High School.
Dale was employed with Clinton Corn for many years and retired from Collis, Inc. He was a member of the Clinton Historical Society.
Dale was an amateur radio enthusiast spending many hours chatting with friends on his CB radio. He was also an Electronic hobbyist and enjoyed spending time on his computer or building other electronic gadgets – he loved technology.
Dale is survived by his sister – Joyce Boekeloo of Clinton; cousins - Steve (Patty) Boekeloo, Ron (Cindy) Boekeloo, Marsha Klare and Cathy Boekeloo all of Clinton, IA; special friends Carrie Schultheis and Lisa Omoyefa both Clinton, IA.
Preceding Dale in death were his parents and three siblings.
