Christine "Chris" Jo Foster, 55, of Clinton, Iowa passed away at Genesis East Medical Center in Davenport, Iowa on July 23, 2016. Honoring her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded with a memorial service to be scheduled at a later date. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Chris was born February 13, 1961 in Dubuque, Iowa the daughter of Harold and Ruth (Hintgen) Gaarde.
Chris was a homemaker. She loved the outdoors, especially spending time in the mountains. She also loved animals and helping people out. She also enjoyed listening to music. Above all she loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren - she will be sadly missed.
Chris is survived by one daughter - Jessica (Nichole) Spensley of Clinton, IA; one son - Travis (Christopher) Wilson of Rochester, MN and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents - Harold Gaarde and Ruth Gaarde-Reese.
