I didn't know Charlie too well, but I work with Tina, his high school sweetheart and long time girlfriend. Charlie would come visit her, and even though we heard his bike and knew he was there, he would stand outside the window, to get Tina's attention and scare the sh** out of us, which just made him laugh!! Tina recently told us a story, while at Walmart, Charlie and she were waiting in line, and he called the store, from his cell phone and asked for the manager, and then he said to the manager "hey, do you see us, we're in lane 12 and have been waiting for 20 minutes, do you suppose you could get more checkers out here, this is ridiculous" I laughed so hard, that was brilliant! I came home and told my husband, my husband said "that man is my hero" LOL. Rest in peace, Charlie, you will certainly be missed. And all of my thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
