Obituary for Chandler Lee James
Chandler Lee James, 67, of Clinton Iowa passed away at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics on Tuesday, May 12, 2020. Honoring his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded with a celebration of his life taking place at a later date. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Chandler was born October 30, 1952 in Clinton, Iowa the son of Richard and Carol (Chandler) James.
He worked as a custodian for several businesses in the area. Chandler was an avid bowler and enjoyed being outside, especially walking. He loved to socialize with family and friends.
Chandler is survived by his daughter – Tiffany Dixon of Colorado; two grandchildren; three sisters – Rebecca Wiebenga of Savanna, IL, Patricia Paxson of Mt. Carroll, Il and Kathy Kent of AZ; two brothers – Christopher (Dawn) Wiebenga of Thomson, IL and Michael (Jennifer) Wiebenga of St. Donatus, IA; with several nieces, nephews, cousins, with special cousin Garrett Chandler and friends.
Preceding Chandler in death were his parents and sister – Victoria.
