Carol "CR" Rock- Ruscher, 63, of Clinton passed away Thursday, May 24, 2012 at The University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics. Memorial service will be 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Lemke Funeral Homes South Chapel, 2610 Manufacturing Drive. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 29, 2012 from 4 to 7 P.M. also at the funeral home. There will be additional visitation time one hour before the memorial service. Burial will take place in Clinton Lawn Cemetery.
Carol Lorraine Rock was born the daughter of Harry and Ethel ( Anderson ) Rock on June 7, 1948 in Clinton.
Carol enjoyed playing Bingo, talking with truck drivers on her CB Radio, and her biggest joy was her family and especially her 3 Granddaughters.
Survivors include, 1 son, John ( Sagen ) Rock, of Clinton, 3 granddaughters, Justis, Joslyn, Jacklynn, 2 sisters, Barb Waters, of Morrison IL., Betty ( Glenn ) Brown, of Camanche, 1 Brother, John ( Jeanne ) Rock, of Dracut, MA., 1 Aunt, Norma Soenksen of DeWitt, Iowa and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters and 3 brothers.
